I am trained in Classical Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga practices purify and balance the bodily systems & energies systematically. The practices of classical Hatha Yoga encompass Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Relaxation / Meditation.
The golden sequence of Classical Hatha yoga is Surya Namaskara, sun salutations. In itself this sequence is balanced; front and back body, both sides of the body. It can be performed dynamically for physical exercise, heat & purification or more slowly to develop awareness & depth. The Surya Mantras help to bypass the busy mind & take us deeper into the practice. Sun salutations with Mantra are a moving meditation.
