Women’s weekend retreat

The Hermitage Hotel in Mount Cook

I invite you over the Queen’s birthday weekend for a Women’s Retreat hosted in the beautiful Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park! The weekend focuses on deep relaxation for body and mind. Yoga practices and Yoga Nidra meditation will be tailored to support women’s overall wellbeing.

Weekend retreat cost is $550 per person and includes;
– Twin share room at Mt Cook Lodge
– Breakfast Sunday and Monday morning, two course dinner Saturday and Sunday evening
Gentle Hatha yoga classes in the mornings; accessible for everyone
Yin yoga with live music on the guitar: stretch and relax
– Guided meditation for deep relaxation: Yoga Nidra
Sound journey special: lay down, relax and receive

3:30 – 4:30 PM Talk & sharing circle : listening the body’s natural cycle

7:30 – 8 PM Yoga Nidra meditation 2 for restful sleep


8:30 – 9:30 AM Morning Yoga

11 AM – 12:30 PM Talk & sharing circle : the feminine principle in a masculine world, Yoga Nidra meditation 3

Please note yoga mats are provided, we request you bring a cushion and blanket.

About myself: I immersed myself into yoga practice and yogic lifestyle over the last three years, living, training and working at Kawai Purapura Retreat Centre, Auckland, and connecting to the Satyananda Yoga Tradition (Bihar School of Yoga, India). I am certified in Classical Hatha yoga (200 hours), Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga (150 hours), Tantrik Hatha (150 hours). I teach regularly on Yoga Teacher Training courses at Kawai Purapura Yoga School. My music gives my yoga classes a unique signature and holds students in a very profound way. I am passionate about empowering women to be themselves.

Deep Relaxation with Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation. It takes the body and mind through an inner journey and brings deep relaxation. In this class I invite you to lie down and follow the instructions of the voice. This class does not require any yoga experience or physical movement.

I manage the Yoga school and teach Asana and Teaching Methodology on the 200 hour training. We understand yoga as a lifestyle and teach in a traditional way, drawing on the knowledge from the Satyananda Yoga Tradition. Students taste the richness of Yoga in our training courses and get inspired to build a holistic yogic lifestyle. They learn to instruct safely and to make yoga accessible to everyone.

Women’s circle


In Belmont, near Takapuna, Auckland

We create a monthly women’s circle at my home in Auckland. It is an evening to relax, learn, share and make new friends. I guide through a different topic that is related to our Feminine; the menstrual cycle, hormones and contraception, our history with our Yogi (vagina), sex – what women really want, relationships. There is no taboo really. The conversations we share are based on respect, acceptance and on valuing the Feminine and the Masculine. We share the understanding that we have a lot of work to do to bring the polarities to harmony and to live in peace together. Read more about my vision here.
